This small but powerful 4" x 4" acrylic ink painting explores the many colors hidden in a simple apple. Letting the inks flow and move on the canvas, I allowed the shape to emerge, almost like an aura—light, color, and form radiating outward. Deep purples blend into the body of the apple, creating unexpected textures and subtle shifts in tone that invite you to look closer. Bold, saturated hues give this tiny piece an outsized presence, making it a striking accent for a kitchen nook, studio wall, or any space that celebrates color and curiosity.

About My Process

All of my paintings are created without traditional brushes. I work with acrylic inks, guiding them across the surface using straws, pipettes, palette knives, and gravity itself. By blowing, tilting, and gently manipulating the ink, I let each piece develop organically, allowing shapes, textures, and color shifts to emerge in unexpected ways. This intuitive, hands-on approach keeps every artwork one-of-a-kind, with its own rhythm, flow, and quiet sense of movement.
